August 2024 Reading Recommendations That Will Travel with Your Kids by Fran Joyce

Do you allow your kids to be involved with making travel plans for the summer? Do you ask them questions about places they would like to visit or activities they would like to try? Planning trips with your kids is a great way to introduce them to new places and new experiences.

Sharing books about traveling and what to expect can help them relax and enjoy vacation time instead of letting excitement turn into fear of the unknown. Stories about vacations and special trips can help their imaginations soar. I’s okay to be a little scared of encountering a wild animal during a hike, but having a game plan can save the day. We have ten books about travel for kids of all ages and young adults.
