“April showers bring May flowers,” my mom used to say to me whenever I pouted because it was raining and I couldn’t play outside. Well, April is over and it’s May. It’s still raining, but I see a few flowers blooming in the yard. May is a time for flowers, picnics, cookouts graduation parties, and celebrating the coming of summer. Now more than ever it’s important to celebrate the little things as we remember our loved ones who are with us and the brave men and women in our armed forces who lost their lives in service to our country. We remember and thank mom for everything she’s done for us or we thank the person who stepped in when mom couldn’t be there. We hope you enjoy this look at May 2021 in pictures.
