September is Banned Books Month.
We'll be talking about:
- Some of the authors of books that have made the list and the reason(s) these books were banned.
- Who determines when a book should be banned?
- Banned books that have been made into movies
- How to have a Banned Book Party
We will also have a Banned Book Quiz - I haven't decided if it will be a crossword puzzle, fill in the blank or matching
We will be remembering Jay Speyerer, my former co-publisher for This Awful-Awesome Life, who passed away suddenly this month. Send your JPEG photos and anecdotes about Jay by August 25 to fg83cj@gmail.com.
